Amy Acker

Amy has been elevated to a series regular on the CBS hit drama Person of Interest for the upcoming third season. She plays Root, aka Caroline Turing. Also coming up for Acker is a guest-starring role on the CW Seed web TV series Husbands, the big screen dramas The Energy Specialist and Ward’s Wife. You can also see Acker on Alias, The Good Wife, How I Met Your Mother, Grimm, and Once Upon a Time. Amy Ackler is best known for starring as Winifred Burkle and Illyria on the supernatural drama series Angel  as Kelly Peyton on the action drama series Alias , and as Root on the science-fiction drama series Person of Interest. She also starred as Caitlin Strucker on the superhero drama series The Gifted, based on Marvel Comics' X-Men.
